BEING NOBODY, GOING NOWHERE – NEW WORK FOR BRIGHTON PHOTO FRINGE

I am pleased to announce my new body of work is finally finished!

The project is entitled Being Nobody, Going Nowhere and is to be exhibited for the first time as part of the Brighton Photo Fringe 2012.  I wanted to show the work at a venue I felt appropriate for the work and I’m excited to say I think I have found the perfect place.  The photographs will be displayed in the windows of the old Co-op building on London Road, Brighton.

This means the exhibition will be available to be viewed by anyone 24/7.

I am currently running a funding campaign via wefund.co.uk to raise money to help towards the costs of printing for the exhibition, please take a look at my campaign page and any contributions would be gratefully received (there are incentives in it for you!).

BRIGHTON FESTIVAL OPEN HOUSE 2012

Well what a week last week was!  There was a rather frenzied flurry of activity as I found out, rather last minute, that I had been accepted to show as part of The Claremont’s 2012 Open House.

Whilst I am still heavily in the editing stage of my latest body of work ‘Being Nobody, Going Nowhere’ (hopefully to be previewed at the Brighton Photo Fringe in November) – I thought an Open House was a great way to try out some of the prints and do a little taster preview show. The Claremont boasts one of the biggest and most impressive collections of art during the festival so it is a great show to be a part of and I m amongst a great cohort of artists from a variety of disciplines – so I am delighted that 9 images from the (current edit) of the project will be on display as a part of their rather impressive show.

The work is currently being hung and will open to the public on Sunday 6th May.  Full details of opening dates and the artists on show can be found on The Claremont’s wesbite here.

Hopefully see you there at some point!
